An off duty police chief couldn't believe the proposition he got from a Rockcastle County woman recently, who didn't believe he was a cop!
Chief Butch Phillips says the woman asked him for forty dollars, and then asked for one hundred dollars and a pack of cigarettes in exchange for sex.
Chief Phillips says the proposition was unusual because nearly everyone in the town of 800 people knows him.

“At one point she did ask me if I was a cop and I thought she'd recognize me. So at that point I said as a matter of fact I am and she just looked at me and said oh you're not so I went along with it and said, no, I’m not really.”

Chief Phillips arrested Cassandra Falin. She spent one night in the Lincoln County jail.
She has already pleaded guilty to a prostitution charge and paid a one hundred dollar fine.
