Dump The Pump Day
A group wants you to take a different way to work. It's the second annual Dump the Pump Day, sponsored by the American Public Transportation Association.
The group wants you to use public transportation, to help improve the environment and to use less gas.
LexTran officials encourage people to take part.
Organizers say public transportation produces nearly 50-percent less carbon dioxide per passenger mile, as private vehicles.
