Search For Missing Boaters

A search is underway in Whitley County right now for two missing boaters.

It's happening in the Red Bird area near Highway 204.

We're told two men went out on the Cumberland River to fish yesterday morning. When a driver returned to pick up the men last night, she couldn't find them.

Search crews have been out on the river all night.

They're planning to use a helicopter and use search boats on the river once fog in the area clears.

We're told the 42 and 43 year old men are in good health, and that they're both familiar with the area.
