Search for Missing Woman Intensifies
UNIONTOWN, Ohio (AP) - An army of volunteers is moving out to search for Jessie Davis, the pregnant woman missing in northeast Ohio.
Today's operation began a few hours late, because organizers say they were overwhelmed by the more than one-thousand people who showed up to help.
Texas EquuSearch director Tim Miller says his volunteer group had expected only around 200 would turn out.
Miller says he thinks every single rock will be turned over in the region around Davis' home in Lake Township, near Canton.
Searchers will be aided by sonar equipment and a small drone airplane equipped with a camera.
Davis was due to deliver her baby July Third. She was last heard from in a telephone call with her mother just over a week ago.
