Lexington Police arrest a man for kidnapping early this morning.
Police say they were called to the Oak Grove Apartments on Rapid Run for reports of a man holding a young boy by the neck.
When they arrived the man was gone.
Witness told officers he took the child and the boy's mother by force.
Police later spotted his car on Armstrong Mill.
After a short chase, police say 24 year old Brian Tichenor bailed out of the car.
He was caught a short time later.
Tichenor is now charged with kidnapping and assault.
