Western Kentucky Teens Shoot At Police During Chase

GREENVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Three western Kentucky foster children are in a juvenile detention center after police say they shot at them during a car chase.

Police say the teenage boys assaulted their foster parents in Greenville on Wednesday night, stole guns from the home, and then left in a van.

Police say that when they tried to stop the van, the teens shot at the officers, and even crashed into a police cruiser.

Police say the chase ended minutes later when the vehicle broke down.

All three boys were taken to the juvenile detention center in Bowling Green. Two are charged with attempted murder.
