Car Plows Into Grocery Store; Driver Arrested

Video will be available shortly

Shoppers at a Frankfort Kroger got more than they bargained for when a car came barreling into the store!

It happened at just before 4:00, Friday afternoon at the grocery store off highway 60 in Frankfort.

Police say Emily Gable of Frankfort was behind the wheel of a silver Mercedes when she lost control, hit another car in the parking lot and then ran through the front doors of the store.

Several passengers narrowly escaped being hit by the car which came to rest near the customer service desk.

There were no serious injuries reported.

Police arrested Gable. She's charged with DUI and wanton endangerment.

The managers closed the Kroger down for a while so they could clean up the glass and other damage caused by the crash.
