Woman Killed in Lexington Crash
One woman is dead, and other people are recovering after an accident on Nicholasville Rd.
It happened just after two in the afternoon on Saturday.
Eyewitnesses say one car plowed into the side of the other near the intersection of Nicholasville and Southpointe Dr.
At the time of the crash witnesses and other drivers stopped to help the people involved.
Two witnesses told 27 Newsfirst that they actually pulled one victim out of her car where she was trapped inside unconscious.
Other witnesses gave CPR to that same victim while they waited for emergency crews to arrive.
Police say at least two people involved in the crash were taken to UK Hospital for treatment.
The names of those people are not being released at this time, nor is the name of the woman who was killed.
