Two young children and a woman were killed in a boating accident on the Ohio River early Saturday morning.
Emergency dispatchers say the dead include a four-year-old girl, a 16-month-old boy and Sandyville resident Jennifer Posten.
The West Virginia Department of Natural Resources says three others were hurt. Michael Fisher, identified as the children's father, was treated for minor injuries at the scene. His wife Jill Fisher and Roger Posten Junior were treated and released at St. Mary's Medical Center in Huntington.
The D-N-R says six people were aboard the boat when it collided with a barge north of Ravenswood about 2 a-m. Fog had cut visibility to almost nothing at the time of the accident.
