Will A Higher Speed Limit Change Drivers' Behavior?

Video will be available shortly

Speed limit signs along Kentucky highways may soon change, but will it change drivers' behavior?

Some roads may soon get a 70 mile per hour speed limit.

Some drivers say that means those who currently drive 70 will just go even faster.

But Kentucky State Police don't think there will be a noticeable impact, as long as the changes are only made to rural parts of interstates.
The higher speed limit will go into effect the weekend after the Fourth of July.

Police say they'll have increased patrols that weekend.
