Print

Two firefighters were taken to the hospital Sunday night while fighting a house fire in Corbin.

The fire broke out on North Kentucky Avenue just after 10:00 p.m.

Firefighters say a ceiling collapsed inside the home, injuring the men.

One had possible back injuries.

The injuries to the other firefighter aren't known.

No one was at home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters were able to rescue a basset hound.

The firefighters, whose names were not released, have been released from the hospital.
