It will be back to court Friday for a former state lawmaker charged with murdering his ex-fiancee.
A hearing is scheduled for the civil lawsuit filed against Steve Nunn.
The family of Amanda Ross filed the suit.
Police say Nunn shot and killed Ross last September outside her Lexington home.
Last month, Nunn's defense asked for a delay in the lawsuit.
The judge didn't rule on it but did allow the Ross family to add Nunn's lawyer, Warren Scoville, to the suit.
The family alleges Scoville is being paid with money Nunn had fraudulent access to, which came from the sale of Nunn's Glasgow home.
Just this week, lawmakers in Kentucky's House of Representatives passed a bill in Ross' name.
It aims to keep track of certain domestic violence offenders by GPS.
