27 NEWSFIRST has learned that the 2008 presidential campaign will come through Lexington this week.
Democratic candidate John Edwards' internet site says his wife, Elizabeth, will be in town this Friday.
Elizabeth Edwards, who's fighting cancer will appear for an event at LexArts Downtown. The event is open to the public and begins at five. Tickets are $15.
Despite her battle with cancer, Mrs. Edwards has kept up an aggressive campaign schedule for her husband's bid for the white house.
