Suspect taken into custody after two-county chase

Police used spike strips to end a two-county police chase early Tuesday.

Lexington Police tried pulling over the driver's blue Cadillac after it was involved in a hit-and-run crash on Leestown Road then side swiped a police cruiser.

Officers finally stopped the car on Interstate 64 in Clark County.

At the time, police thought the suspect was 20 years old.

However, we've received word he could be as young as 16.

A female passengers was also in the car at the time of the chase. She wasn't hurt and isn't facing any charges.
