Chrysler is recalling about 24,000 2009 and 2010 Dodge and Jeep vehicles because of a defective part that could cause a brake failure.
The recall involves the 2010 model Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger sedans, Dodge Nitro and Jeep Liberty, as well as Grand Cherokees and 2009 and 2010 Ram trucks.
Chrysler says so far it hasn't heard of any accidents related to the faulty part, but owners should contact chrysler or the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
