Lexington's oldest mall could soon be showing signs of new life.
The Rubloff Development Group wants to turn the old mall into a place where people can shop, work, and live.
Right now, the mall is only home to a few retail stores. Many businesses have been leaving the mall in the past decade, leaving most of it empty.
The proposal calls for tearing down most of the mall, and replacing it with a variety of buildings.
The buildings would include residences, stores, and restaurants.
The mixed-use development proposal will be presented to the public Tuesday evening at 7 p.m. at the Shrine Temple on Southland Drive.
