Man accused of sparking AMBER Alert pleads guilty

A central Kentucky man accused of taking his infant daughter to Mexico, sparking an AMBER Alert, has agreed to a plea deal.

30-year-old Miles Woodside pleaded guilty Tuesday to transporting a stolen vehicle across state lines.

Police say last year, Woodside stole his grandfather's vehicle, then left Frankfort with his 2-year-old daughter, whom he did not have custody of.

The two were later found in Mexico.

Woodside could face ten years in jail when he's sentenced in April.
