Urban County Council To Vote On Neighborhood's Historical Status

The Fayette Urban County Council will vote Thursday on whether a Lexington neighborhood will be considered historical.

The Chevy Chase, Hollywood Terrace area is up for consideration.

Some people who own homes there held a protest against the proposal.

They say if the neighborhood becomes historic, they wouldn't be able to make changes to their homes without getting the city's permission first.
