Help On The Way For Businesses Near Lake Cumberland

Help is on the way for southern Kentucky businesses, hurt by lower water levels in Lake Cumberland.

Governor Fletcher's request for emergency assistance has been approved by the U.S. Small Business Administration.

Businesses in fifteen counties in the Lake Cumberland area are now eligible for low interest disaster loans.

The Army Corps of Engineers lowered water levels by 43 feet to help take pressure off the Wolfe Creek Dam and help with repairs.
