The risk for strong and severe thunderstorms will be on the increase late this afternoon into the evening. The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire area in a slight chance for severe weather through Wednesday.

Police Make Arrest One Month After Armed Robbery

Police in Richmond arrest a man for a hotel robbery last month.

Police arrested 23-year-old Timothy Huggins of Lexington late last night.
He's charged with robbery.
Police say Huggins robbed the Econo Lodge along the Eastern Bypass.

Surveillance camera captured the robbery.
You can see the suspect walking to the desk. The robber then pulls out a box cutter and demands money.
