Kentucky's U.S. senators helped stop an immigration bill in congress, saying they had gotten thousands of messages from Kentuckians.
Both Senators Mitch McConnell and Jim Bunning voted "no" to revive the bill.
McConnell had been tight lipped about how he would vote, but in the end he said it didn't have support in Kentucky or the rest of America.
McConnell says it was the part about legalizing millions of unlawful immigrants that doomed the proposal.
