Rain leads to flooding in Richmond

It's been a soggy Sunday across much of our area and the rain isn't expected to stop.

Several inches have fallen across much of Central Kentucky, and it's starting to cause problems.

One area in Richmond, seems to see the water rise, every time it rains, and that has people living in the area up in arms.

Flooding has proved to be a problem in Madison County, along Caleast Road, where reportedly high waters sent a car through a fence at a residence.

Danny Farthing says with the right mix of speed and rain, someone was bound to head into his fence, which is what he says happened Sunday afternoon.

Cones and 'High Water' signs mark the trouble spot, but many in the area fear that isn't enough.
