An Estill County water company worker saved the day for a man and his child trapped in high flood waters.
The Irvine man had just picked his child up from school and reportedly decided to drive over a road that was covered in flood water. Halfway through the water the man's car reportedly stopped running, leaving he and his child in a dangerous situation.
A pair of Estill water company workers came upon the trapped man and his child, and bravely pulled their vehicle out of the water by rigging it to their work truck.
No one was injured during the incident.
