The Laurel County Sheriff’s Department and officers from the county’s Division of Public Safety made a major meth lab bust early Sunday and arrested six people.

Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a complaint of a Possible meth lab at 115 Sweet Hollow Road in Corbin at about 4:15 a.m.

Officers located what they described as “an active meth lab,” finding produced meth inside the residence, as well as a lot of ingredients necessary to make meth.

Laurel County Division of Public Safety Director and several deputy directors spear-headed the bust.
