Teen Killed On Lake Cumberland

JAMESTOWN, Ky. (AP) - A 14-year-old Florida boy died this afternoon following an accident on Lake Cumberland.

Officials say the boy was operating a Jetski-like watercraft when he was struck broadside by another personal watercraft operated by a 14-year-old boy from Indiana.

The accident happened in the Greasy Creek arm of Lake Cumberland near Jamestown.

The victim was airlifted to Russell County Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name was not immediately available. No charges have been filed pending further investigation.
