Accused Drunk Driver Found Hiding At Neighbor's House

Lexington police say a woman was drunk when she hit a utility pole at High Street and Madison Place.

When police first arrived they couldn't find the driver.
They say they later found her hiding at a neighbor's house.

Police arrested 51-year old Regina Shepherd.

She's been charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident, among other charges.

Shepherd suffered minor facial injuries in the crash, and is now in the Fayette County Detention Center.
