A warning tonight about some possible meter reader impostors in the Lexington area.

Columbia Gas officials say they're investigating reports of people posing as Columbia employees to try to get into homes.

So the company is offering some safety tips.

They say you should always ask to see a company ID before letting someone in your home.

They say you should never let anyone in who claims to offer a refund. Columbia officials say they never deliver refunds to your door.
