The flash flood threat increases late tonight and into Thursday. Rounds of storms may dump a lot of rain across our region.
One of the hardest hit areas of the weekend's snow storm was Knox County.
Officials there are clearing up roads that had up to eight inches of snow, with ice underneath.
Normally, the Trademart Center in Corbin is packed with shoppers. That was not the case on Sunday. A parking lot of packed snow and ice has emptied the area.
But it is not just malls. Many roads have been difficult to drive on since the snow hit on Friday.
Larry Howard is an ambulance driver and also the Knox County Emergency Management Director. He said the roads caused some emergency responses to take 30 minutes longer than normal.
But, Howard also says officials feel fortunate because there are no reported power or water outages in the county.
