Doctor William Markesbury dies

The University of Kentucky is mourning the loss of a remarkable colleague.

Doctor William Markesbury died Saturday night, at age 77.

Doctor Markesbury was a world-renowned Alzheimer's researcher, and longtime director of UK's Sander's Brown Center on aging.

He also won numerous awards for his work.
