They were dressed to impressed when they stole a woman's credit card from her purse at Keeneland's race track. Now authorities are looking for the preppy pickpocketers that they say have stolen from multiple people.

Enjoying the races during the Fall meet at Keeneland was what one woman wanted to do, until Lexington Police say a man dressed nicely with a green cardigan sweater around his shoulders, and accompanied by a man in a black jacket, stole the woman's credit card from her purse.

The card was used at the Keeneland gift shop, the airport Mini Mart on Versailles Road, and BP Dough Daddy's in Versailles.

"Running up a total of about $1,000 in fraudulent purchases in a short period of time", says Detective Jeremiah Davis with Lexington Police.

Both men were caught on tape at Keeneland. Only one was caught on camera at the gas station, and police say the two are related to more crimes.

"We have multiple victims who have been hit by these same suspects. The same suspects used the credit cards at similar style stores...the minit marts and gas stations, stores of that nature, not only in Lexington but also in Frankfort as well", says Detective Davis.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020 with your information. It is anonymous.
