Winchester and Fortune

Crews are working repaving a section of Fortune Drive news Winchester Road today. This is causeing major delays turning onto Fortune from Winchester. It is advised to find an alternate route.

Major Delays on New Circle Road:

New Circle Road from Newtown Pike To Industry Road - 7 PM until 6 AM expect delays.

Crews will be working on the right shoulder with left lane closures from Newtown Pike to Broadway.

And work the median from Industry Road to Broadway - with right lane closures.

Expect work to continue during the week from 7 PM until 6 am Monday through Thursday and on weekends starting Friday at 7 PM and running through 6 AM, Monday.

This project will continue for several months.

Milling and Paving Around Town 6 PM until 6 AM:

Richmond Road - From Midland Avenue to New Circle.

Angliana Avenue - between South Broadway and Versailles Road.

Lansdowne Drive - from Tates Creek Road to Montavesta.

Lane Closures Running 9 AM until 3 PM:

In and Outbound Nicholasville Road - Right lane closures - when needed - from Moore Drive to Cooper. This is a mobile operation.

South Upper Street at Vine - Right lane blocked on both street.

West Second Street - Left lane blocked between North Broadway and Bruce Street.

Major Downtown Traffic Impact

North Martin Luther King - Right lane closures at East Short Street with traffic diverted.

Closures run 24/7 due to a construction project and will continue through next year.

Major Road Closure:

Loudon Avenue is closed between Marcellus Drive and Floyd.

Detour For Cars: Meadow Lane to Highland Park over to Carneal.

Detour for Trucks: Highlawn Drive to Seventh over to Seventh Street, and then to Shropshire.

Major Traffic Impact Near The UK Campus:

South Limestone - The center turn lane - eliminated and through lanes diverted between Gazette Avenue and State Street.

This project is part of the construction work on a parking garage.

Transcript Avenue has already become a one-way street - with detour.

Expect these changes to continue for the next two years.
