Governor Steve Beshear is praising Toyota for the handling of it's recall and production halt.
The Governor spoke exclusively with Newsfirst and says, the actions of Toyota have been admirable over the last two weeks. Beshear says the company has put public safety ahead of its profits.
Toyota, which operates a plant in Georgetown, is a significant contributor to Central Kentucky's economy. The governor says the commonwealth will continue to partner with the company. On a person note, he added he will be an outspoken advocate for the company in the days to come.
