CINCINNATI (AP) - A Cincinnati attorney has donated the full amount for putting up a historical marker at the spot of a 1977 disaster in northern Kentucky.
Stan Chesley represented families of many of the 165 people killed in the fire at the Beverly Hills Supper Club in May 1977.
A woman who began a drive to raise the nearly two-thousand-dollar cost of the marker says she wrote Chesley to see if he could help. She says she was delighted when he came through with all the money.
The two-foot by three-foot dark green, aluminum sign is expected to arrive in several weeks and will be placed downhill from where the nightclub was located.
