Death Investigation In Corbin Underway

A death investigation in Southern Kentucky is underway.

Emergency officials responded to an apartment on South Kentucky Avenue in Corbin and found a woman unresponsive.

27-year old Lauren Litton was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy showed Litton died due to a blow to the back of her head.

The Whitley County Major Crimes Task Force is investigating.
