Police now say someone thought to be posing as a water company employee, was legit after all.

The man showed up at at Georgetown home Monday, saying he needed to check on a water heater.

The woman who lives there thought he identified himself as a water company employee, but she became suspicious after he left. She ended up calling police.

It turns out the man was actually a state plumbing inspector. The woman's landlord had arranged for him to come to the home.
