Speed Limit Increases Today

The speed limit will now be 70 on all Kentucky interstates except in Lexington, Louisville and Northern Kentucky.

Road crews in the Lexington area made the switch on road signs just after six this morning.

Statewide, 496 speed limit signs have to be changed. Most will just have a new sticker to cover the old speed limit.
