Central Kentucky Drivers Warned About Fake Police Officer

Police are on the lookout for a man they say is posing as an officer and trying to pull drivers over. Police say the imposter even stole an official license plate to make it look legit. Drivers have reported seeing a man in a white Ford Taurus drive up behind them on the road, then try to pull them over by flashing his lights repeatedly. Police say if someone tries to pull you over who you suspect is not a law enforcement officer, you should call 911. Officials say a man with a similar description was reported posing a an officer this past November.
