Crews with the state transportation department in Frankfort are closely monitoring road conditions to make sure they're ready, in case roads get worse.
It's become almost a daily task for them during this winter.
Crews have several monitors on a wall to keep an eye on many of the major interstate routes and highways around the state.
Most of them are passable now, so crews are focusing on secondary routes.
In most of the eastern half of Kentucky, crews are both plowing and treating roads Tuesday.
There have been a few problem areas in central Kentucky. Crews spent some time around the 110 mile marker of I-75 in Lexington Tuesday, after some ice caused problems.
Transportation officials say if you have questions or concerns about Kentucky's roads, you can call 511 to get the latest conditions.
