Berea College basketball players suspended after fight

Eleven men's basketball players from two schools have been suspended for one game after a brawl between Berea and Indiana University-Southeast.
The commissioner's office of the Kentucky Intercollegiate
Athletic Conference made the announcement in a news release Friday.
The release says that during the the Thursday game at Berea, six
players from Indiana and five from Berea were ejected for fighting.
The game is considered a no contest and the statistics will not
be recorded.
Berea College students call the fight shocking and ridiculous. One student even says the animocity in the gymnasium spread to fans who also began arguing during the melee.
Presidents from both Berea College and Indiana University Southeast have expressed their regrets about the situation.
