Fire Investigators Looking Into Golf Course Fire

Video will be available shortly

Fire investigators spent most of the day on Friday at Cassell Creek Golf Course in Clark County after a fire destroyed a barn and more than one hundred thousand dollars worth of equipment on Thursday night.

The fire started around 9:30. It's the second fire at the golf course in 30 days.

The owners are afraid it wasn't an accident and Friday investigators began the task of sifting through the debris to see if it was arson.

The barn that burned housed equipment like tractors, sprayers, fertilizer and other maintenance items, which made the fire even more difficult to fight.

The course has remained open for business and owners say they hope to replace the items lost right away so they can continue to operate.
