Family and Friends Mourn Murdered 4-Year-Old Boy

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) - Dozens of mourners paid their respects last night to the family of a murdered 4-year-old boy found in a city garbage truck last week.

Cesar Ivan Aguilar-Cano disappeared from his Louisville neighborhood on June 29th. Police found his body eight days later in a trash bag in a city garbage truck.

During a visitation and wake for Ivan last night, many mourners expressed sadness and anger over the boy's death.

Many of the visitors were police officers who grew close to the boy's family during the search that followed his disappearance.

Sergeant Carolyn Nunn with Louisville Metro Police said there hasn't been an officer who hasn't been affected by Ivan's murder.

No arrests have been made in the case.
