Armed Homeowner Chases Burglars Away

Print

Quite a scare early Monday morning for both a victim and the criminals.

Lexington police say a woman spent some time with the two men who live at a home on Pinewood Court near Todd's Road. Police say after she went home, her boyfriend asked her about where she had been.

Police say her boyfriend and a friend then went to the home on Pinewood to confront the men who live there.

Police say the suspects kicked in the front door of the home and went upstairs.

Police say that's when one of the men who lives there came out of a bedroom with a gun and forced the suspects to leave.

We're told police know who the suspects are, but have not made any arrests. Police say they are trying to interview the woman involved, but she has been uncooperative.
