Motel Clerk Thinks Robber Knocked Him Out During Robbery

A Richmond motel clerk told police a robber may have knocked him out during a robbery early Monday morning.

Police say a man entered the Motel 6 off Lexington Road, implied a weapon and demanded cash.

The clerk handed over the money, but says he later discovered he had a bump on his head.

When the clerk woke up, he called police.

Richmond Police are looking for a black man, in his 20's to early 30's, standing 5’10 to 6’0, weighing 170 to 180, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with a red bandanna across is face and wearing sunglasses.

Paramedics checked out the clerk and he later answered questions for police.
