Medical examines performed an autopsy Monday on the body of a drowning victim, found in Russell County.
Search crews found a body they believe to be 37-year-old Mark Sayers on Sunday afternoon in the Wolfe and Dudley Creek area of Lake Cumberland.
Emergency Management officials say the Boone County Search and Rescue Team brought in a sonar device to help locate the body. Divers from Pulaski County were then sent in to retrieve the body.
Sayers disappeared in June after a boat crash.
