Boy Burned After Laurel County Explosion

Investigators in Laurel County are looking into a bizarre explosion that injured a 3-year-old boy Monday.
Laurel County EMS says the boy was walking outside the Plantation Apartments in London when he dropped his sippy cup.
When the cup hit the ground, something exploded, burning the toddler's head and face.
He was flown to UK Hospital, which burns on his face and head. His injuries are being called non-life threatening.
The ATF and local police are investigating.
