Kentucky lawmakers are being paid right now even though they are not meeting in Frankfort.
After Gov. Ernie Fletcher called a special session for July 5, the house immediately adjourned.
Now, Sen. Ernesto Scorsone is asking state treasurer Jonathan Miller to find a way to withhold pay from lawmakers.
Scorsone, who's a Democrat from Lexington, says he doesn't want to accept pay when the legislature isn't even meeting.
