Police Impersonators Arrested For Robberies

Police have arrested three suspects who are thought to be responsible for several robberies in Owlsey County.

Police were responding to an armed robbery when they spotted the suspects vehicle. The driver, 27 year old Jeremiah Burch, was apprehended by police, but the passenger, Ronald Turner, fled from the car.

Police later captured Turner with the assistance of a police dog. Another passenger, Tanya Burch, was also arrested at the scene.

Police believe that all suspects are thought to have committed three different armed robberies that have occurred in Owsley County since this past Saturday.

Police tell us that the suspects identify themselves as police officers and then force themselves into the residence, robbing the victims.

The suspects are being held in the Three Forks Regional Jail.
