The change to complete snow continues to work southward across Kentucky. Snow rates will come in around 1" to 2" per hour. Those rates could be even higher under some of the more intense bands.
It's a big day for Big Blue fans, and those who like to collect the Maker's Mark bottles.
The fifth bottle in the UK series was unveiled Monday, and it features UK Basketball Coach John Calipari.
Coach Cal is teaming up with the UK Symphony Orchestra, Maker's Mark, and Keeneland, to raise money for a unique program.
"When they told me that it was for the school of music, for the children of our state, it's kind of how you'll say, I'll do it," says UK Basketball Coach John Calipari.
Proceeds from the sales of the bottle will go to the UK Symphony Orchestra Outreach Program. The program highlights the performing arts for elementary school children throughout Kentucky.
Maker's Mark is expected to donate around $300,000 from the sales of 24,000 bottles.
Maker's Mark officials say the bottles featuring Calipari should be available statewide on Friday, April 2, which is the opening day of the Keeneland Spring Meet. Each bottle is expected to cost $49.
