Controversial speed bumps being removed from Richmond street

Richmond is removing some controversial speed bumps from a street that runs off the Eastern By-Pass.

The speed bumps were installed last year along North Porter Drive, after some people complained about cars going through the area too fast.

But now, the city has decided that emergency vehicles have difficulty going over the bumps, so they're removing them.

The city will install a three-way stop sign where North Porter intersects with Barnes Mill Road.
