Search Continues For Serial Bank Robber

The search continues today for a man who robbed the First Federal Bank on Tates Creek Road yesterday.

Police tell 27 NEWSFIRST they consider the suspect a serial bank robber who is believed responsible for several other robberies in the region.

The suspect hit the First Federal Bank Wednesday afternoon wearing a toboggan and bandanna covering his face. Police now say that it is the same man who hit the First Federal Bank last month. He is also suspected of four other bank robberies here in Lexington, as well as two others in Louisville.

Lexington Police are working with the police department in Louisville, comparing notes and narrowing down suspects.

If you have any information regarding these crimes, you are asked to contact the Lexington Police Department.
